"Where The Summer Ghosts Dewll"

There is a specific ghost that only haunts the shorelines as the seasons shift, carried on the first warm winds of a long summer...

It lives in the memory of endless beach days spent with family and friends, where the afternoon was measured only by the crunch of potato chips and the taste of sand-dusted sandwiches. It is a time locked in the heavy warmth of hot summer nights, thick with the scent of freshly mowed grass and the rich, smoky drift of a charcoal grill. We lived for the thrill of the drive-in, packed into cars with family and snacks to watch epic movies under a canopy of rising stars. As the days rolled into family vacations and backyard BBQ’s, time stretched out until it felt infinite. We stayed outside until the street lights flickered awake, our bare feet stained by green grass or caked in cool sand. The night belonged to us- a kingdom of hide- and- seek champions, fueled by the cold shock of backyard pools, jumping through sprinklers, and sliding down slick slip -n- slides. When darkness finally won, the adventures simply shifted to camping out by the orange flow of crackling fire pits.Decades fade, but those summers remain preserved in amber. Even now, sleeping with the windows open and listening to the steady rhythmic chorus of the crickets, those spirits feel entirely alive. We don’t really leave those sun-drenched days behind; we just carry them with us, waiting for the air to warm up again so we can visit the places where the summer ghosts dwell.
